Valerie Lodish
Valerie Lodish brings a deep passion for child-centered, values-driven education to her role as Curriculum Director at Tamim. She has 20 years of experience with the Burlington School District, primarily working in the district’s two middle schools. In her role, she planned professional development for district teachers; supported, planned, and co-taught lessons with district teachers; worked as a Technology Integration Specialist, created a Maker Space, and worked with multiple grant partnerships.
Valerie is especially excited about connecting classroom learning to the rhythms of the Jewish calendar and to the natural world. She aims to create rich, meaningful experiences that deepen students’ curiosity and joy in learning.
When not in the classroom, Valerie loves quilting, sewing, and spending time with her husband Chaim and their three teenage boys in the New North End of Burlington.
