I am a New York State Native (Rochester, Buffalo, New York City), I began my journey in education 18 years ago. In that time I have taught in Preschool – Grade 3 classrooms, been a Behavioral Specialist, and Administrator. My progressive approach to learning is predicated upon creating an environment in which children are offered a variety of experience-based opportunities for learning consisting of 3 main components: interest, content and practice. The focus is on teaching children how to learn. The learning process is constant-it never turns itself off. Our goal as educators is to offer children entry points into learning really cool stuff. If we do that, they will change the world.”
